Despite the change in weather conditions, the NCEA show was a great success!  We were well acquainted with familiar faces and were able to meet so many new and exciting principals and their staff members.  We were also entertained by the talented student’s music performances and the attendees walking amidst the crowd wearing peacock feathers.

During the many conversations we had at the show, one of the biggest challenges facing many schools is finding a way to afford the things they truly need, including an emergency notification system like School Announcement.  There are, however, many sources of funding that are worth exploring.  Some schools combine their own financial means with outside sources.  For example, asking local businesses to sponsor your school.  Did you know that school budget cuts will be noticeably more significant for 2010-11 that they were the previous two years?  Perhaps, seeking help from our community sounds more enticing than ever.
