BLI Messaging Doubles Providence Office Staff in One Year
Providence, RI - BLI Messaging, providers of email, voice, survey, fax and SMS text messaging solutions, today announced the company’s Providence office staffing has doubled in size in the past year. At a time when many companies have been forced to downsize in order to remain in business, BLI Messaging has enjoyed rapid growth.
“We have a strong and scale-able business plan generously supported by Catalyst Investors. Our growth this year has been phenomenal and we look forward to providing more great career opportunities for local talent in the future,” said CEO Tory Williams.
The company has heavily expanded its School Announcement division. School Announcement offers K-12 school districts and individual schools the ability to send school alert messages to student families via voice, email and SMS text messages. This allows schools to communicate with parents instantly and reliably. The unlimited usage plans for schools enable them to use the service for absence notifications, event reminders and newsletters as well as for critical and timely alerts such as emergency closings and weather delays. Please visit the School Announcement website to learn more about our product.
The Campus Announcement brand is also burgeoning. This is a similar service to School Announcement but is geared towards the College and University market. This service notifies students and faculty through four channels: voice, SMS, email and desktop alerts (whereby the computer screen is “taken over” with an alert message).
The new hires have bolstered resources in key departments across the company with additions in Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and Business Development. The newly formed Business Development department will focus focused upon developing current markets such as digital publishing and universities in addition to identifying new industries for our services.
BLI Messaging was founded by company President Dave Baeder 20 years ago as a broadcast fax company and evolved to add email, voice and SMS to its platform. We specialize in creating multi-modal messaging solutions that address a specific industry need.
BLI Messaging has served over 4,000 customers including the New York Times, United Nations, GE Money, New York Stock Exchange and Cadbury. In 2009 the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) awarded BLI Messaging the Future Innovators Award. For more information, please visit www.blimessaging.com.
